Davies AquaWood
DAVIES® AquaWood™ is a high performance waterborne 100% acrylic clear varnish designed for use on wood surfaces. Its proprietary self cross-linking property is responsible for rapid cure and very good block and stain resistance. It also offers excellent clarity highlighting the color, warmth, and grain definition of both dark and light woods.

Wood Surfaces
A. New Painting
• All surfaces must be clean, dry, free from dust, dirt, chalk, laitance, efflorescence, rust, grease, oil, and all other foreign materials.
• Sand wood surface until smooth to touch with no slivers or rough edges. Dust off and wipe with a clean rag.
• Patch all holes and imperfections with DAVIES® 77 Lax-tite.
B. Repainting
• Use DAVIES® 300-X Strip-eze Paint Remover to aid in scraping off old paint.
• Patch all holes and imperfections with DAVIES® 77 Lax-tite.
Product Application Procedure:
• Apply one coat of DAVIES® AquaWood™ by a synthetic bristle brush or spray.
• Sand lightly along the wood grain with sandpaper #240.
• Apply two coats of DAVIES® AquaWood™ by a synthetic bristle brush or spray with a 20-30 minutes coating interval.
Note:
Use Wood Bleach 1 & 2 to obtain required color.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
• Keep container closed when not in use.
• Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated space.
• Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
• In case of spillage absorb with inert materials such as sand.
